At First Baptist Church we believe that children are very important. We don't desire to be the main source of a child's spiritual development but desire to aid the family. With that in mind we also know that we have a responsibility to the children the Lord has brought into the First Baptist Church family.

On Sunday mornings there are Bible studies at 9 am for all ages which are divided up into several age groups and taught by qualified and loving adults.  On Sunday nights we are excited to have Worship Kidstyle, a Bible study in a new and exciting format for pre-k through 6th graders. This isn't just another Bible study; it is filled with videos, worship music, crafts and of course Bible study to bring the Word of God to life for the children.

During the school year (October through April), First Baptist Church hosts an after-school program on Tuesdays called Kid's Club. We provide the transportation from school and when the kids arrive they are met with music and a snack. This afternoon goes until 5:30 pm and is full of music, Bible study, memory verse study, and crafts. Every Christmas, the children put on a Christmas presentation before taking Christmas break and the last night of April they put on a year-end wrap-up program. We have a great time ministering to the children not only of First Baptist Church but of the Maries County R-I of Vienna, Missouri school district.

Once a month, corresponding to the youth ministry's Hang-Time, there is a Tween-Hang-Time for 4th-6th graders. This time meets right after morning worship to have lunch together and they'll watch a movie, play games and enjoy one another's fellowship.

On top of these great ministries during the year we desire to reach out to families by ministering through Trunk-r-Treat and a Block Party.

We do all of these ministries because family and children are important to us as a church family. If we can answer any question concerning these ministries please contact us in the church office.
